Do you have questions about the many ways ERC works to save the majestic, endangered rhino or perhaps how you can help with our mission? We are happy to answer any questions you many have. Please feel free to contact us, and a member of the ERC Team will respond as soon as possible.
Donate to Save the Chubby Unicorns!
Rhinos could be extinct in the wild within 10 years if they continue to decline at the current rate. We cannot save every individual in peril, but we can help to provide them a safe haven (in the wild) where they can procreate and raise calves to lead full lives.
We aim to grow our rhino population to become a viable genetic source for repopulation of white rhinos across Southern Africa.
Every donation – large or small – makes a difference! Click below to view our expenses.
PayPal Giving Fund (PPGF) is different from your regular PayPal. PPGF helps ERC by paying 100% of all fees. PPGF receives donations through PayPal and eBay platforms and makes a monthly grant to ERC. PPGF is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) public charity and is designed to help nonprofits like ERC. Credit and debit cards accepted.

Make a one-time or recurring donation securely using your credit or debit card. We partner with Give and Stripe to provide you with the most secure online donation platform possible, and whether you choose to make a one-time donation or support our chubby unicorns monthly or annually, your donation is always appreciated!

Adopt a Rhino!
Whether you’re an individual, organization, school, business or club, a rhino adoption is a rare gift. Join the crash and become an Endangered Rhino Conservation parent and help us make a real difference in rhino conservation efforts in South Africa.
Anti-Poaching Unit Scouts - Our Biggest Need ($25,000)
ERC’s biggest need right now is to establish additional anti-poaching teams, consisting of 2 scouts and 1 dog in a satellite camp in a high-risk area of the reserve. This additional team costs approximately $25,000.
Vehicle Costs ($10,000)
We do a lot of driving, and the cost of fuel for our anti-poaching vehicles costs approximately $8,000 a year, while tire maintenance runs approximately $2,000 annually.
Wildlife Veterinary Costs ($7,000)
Veterinary costs associated with various (large) species across the reserve cost ERC approximately $6,500 annually, while veterinary costs associated with anti-poaching K9 unts cost approximately $500.
Anti-poaching Team Costs ($6,500)
Necessities for anti-poaching teams cost ERC approximately $4,000 a year, which includes uniforms and boots, $2,500 for anti-poaching kits including 2-way radios and solar inverters/batteries for anti-poaching camps.
K9 APU Dogs ($3,000)
In addition to the $500 we spend annually on K9 veterinary care, dog food and flea/tick medication is an annual $2,800 cost. They are worth every penny and necessary in the African bush!
