Family: Daughter of Kelly, sibling to Amahle, Luke, Jodi, Logan and Mac; Granddaughter of Nkombi
Like all baby rhinos, Wendy is an adorable bundle of fun. Her mother Kelly, keeps a close eye on her and never lets her stray too far as Wendy loves to explore and play. She is very entertaining to watch. Particularly when she plays her favorite game; standing still so that the cattle egret birds closely surround her, then jumping into action and bouncing around chasing them all away again. She will do this over and over again, and seems to get just as much enjoyment from it each time.
Like her grandmother Nkombi, Wendy is a very petite rhino with a beautiful little face. We look forward to watching her grow and discover the fun and beauty of the African bush under the watchful eye of her amazing mother.
She was named Wendy by ERC friend and donor, John Stewart, in honor of his late mum.
