Sex: Male
Family: Son of Jodi, brother of Jimbo
Texas was born in early 2019 and his mum Jodi was very protective of him immediately following birth. After putting up camera traps around the reserve, it was seen that Texas had a bad limp in his front left leg. The decision was made to dart him and treat the abscess on his leg. We’re thankful he made a full recovery.
Texas was named by Africa 360 Travel guests, Bill Slusser & Lara Dolnik, after their home state of Texas. Now a bit older, Texas likes to explore and play but he stays very close to his mother Jodi when other males are around.
