Sex: Female
Family: Daughter of Mish, sibling to Courtney and Madolo
Sammi is believed to have the same birth date as our Chief Warden, Dougal. She was hidden for a few days following her birth by her mum, Mish, who is very protective of her young but appears to be more relaxed with Sammi than with her previous two babies.
Sammi was named by guests from Africa 360 Travel, Hether, Jeffery and Aelish Brown, from The Brown Family Social Enterprise Fund, who came to the reserve for a horn trimming in 2019. She is named after their family dog which sadly passed away. Sammi is still very much in her exploring stage and is often seen bouncing around her mother.
