Brutus

Year of Birth: 2015
Date of Arrival: 11th September 2015
Sex: Male
Family: Potentially the father of Amahle, paternity test pending

Brutus arrived at our reserve in 2015 from a partner wildlife reserve. He was brought in to bring a new set of genetics and was swapped for Magoo.

Brutus is now a co-dominant male with Luke. He was named Brutus by Shayne Vaughn and James Huntingford from Mark of the Rhino, as when he arrived, they said he looked like a Brute.

It took a while for Brutus to get established and be accepted by the rest of the herd, but he has slowly found his place and is fighting Luke for more territory.
