Adopt Sadie!
Sadie is a Bloodhound/Doberman mix who has the gentlest nature of any of the dog on the reserve. Following her arrival, it was clear that she too had been trained in an aggressive manor and had previously been beaten. None of that stopped her, however, from rigorously supporting and defending her new handlers, and she created an immediate connection with Kagiso at Base 2 where she now lives with fellow K9, Monty. Sadie is a very intelligent dog who took to her new training well and is now a stand out for her incredible tracking abilities.
Sadie just wants to please and cuddle everyone she meets, and her confidence has grown around new people and noises, which is an amazing achievement and credit to her handler Kagiso.
Sadie is a real character who needs support to continue in her growth and skillset development so that she can track poachers for long distances.
